Acceptance

This website is operated by American Foundation For Furtheringideas That Rekindle The Miracle Of Affirm1776, publicly known as Affirm1776 (501(c)(3) Public Charity, EIN 20-8611120), registered in Hartwell, Georgia. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Purpose of this site

The site is informational and educational. It describes the foundation, publishes general historical and methodological reference material, and provides a way to contact us. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial, conservation, or professional advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional or a primary source.

Accuracy of content

We take care that everything published here is accurate and, where it concerns history, traceable to the documentary record. Historical interpretation nevertheless changes as evidence is re-examined, and errors are possible. Material is provided “as is”, without warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. If you find a mistake, please tell us — corrections are welcome and will be made.

Intellectual property

The text, original illustrations, design, and code of this site are the property of the foundation, except where stated otherwise. Quotations from historical documents such as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are in the public domain.

You may quote or link to material on this site for personal, educational, or non-commercial purposes with attribution to Affirm1776. Systematic copying, republication, or commercial use requires our written permission.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site or the contact form for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or abusive purposes.
  • Do not send automated, bulk, or unsolicited commercial messages through the contact form.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, probe its infrastructure, or interfere with its availability.
  • Do not scrape or reproduce the site in bulk without permission.

Messages you send us

You are responsible for the content of anything you submit through the contact form, and you confirm that you have the right to send it. Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or privileged information through the form. By sending a message you allow us to read it, store it, and reply to it; we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

External links

The site links to collections and resources maintained by other institutions. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. A link is not an endorsement, a partnership, or an affiliation.

Donations

The foundation is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Where a donation is processed by a third-party provider, that provider’s own terms and privacy policy will also apply to the transaction. We do not provide tax advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the foundation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this site or any material on it.
